"If the hotel owner is reading this review, I strongly recommend replacing the receptionist who was on duty on July 8, 2026, at around 7:00 PM during check-in. I booked a Partial Sea View room, but I was not given the room I had reserved. Instead of solving the issue, she insisted that the mistake was mine and claimed that a partial sea view was never included, even though it was clearly stated in my reservation. "We had Pero (the owner) pick us up from the airport. This ensured we arrived at the accommodation without any issue. The apartment was clean and tidy with all necessary appliances. The pool area was clean and tidied everyday and the view is amazing. WiFi worked very well both inside and in the pool area. Cavtat is a little way from Dubrovnik old town but you can travel by bus, uber or boat from the harbour. For us it was ideal and we would definitely return."

"The property is conveniently close to the beaches and waterfront, a few coffee shops, a bank, and grocery store, and pharmacy. You can rent beach towels from the spa to take off property. The room was very clean with a doorless shower and handheld wand plus rain shower. No bidet. Also no drawers to store clothes just cubbies in the closet. AC worked well! Rooftop bar on 30th floor is a great space for drinks but no DJ and ambiance is lacking. Concierge helped us book a boat tour excursion which was excellent. Gym is well equipped and the indoor pool has lovely views. Overall it is a good value at a decent cost. My two criticisms are (1) that for such a large hotel there are only 3 modest elevators and (2) it is a 15-20 walk or taxi to the beach. Otherwise I would stay here again."

"We stayed at Hotel Sumratin for five nights and had a fantastic experience. As a new hotel, everything is finished to a very high standard. The rooms, public areas and facilities were all spotless, and the attention to cleanliness throughout our stay was excellent. The service was consistently friendly and professional, and the hotel grounds and restaurants were beautifully maintained. The breakfast and dining options were of a high quality, and there are also plenty of great local restaurants right on the doorstep if you want to explore. The location is one of the hotel's biggest strengths. It's ideal if you want easy access to Dubrovnik's Old Town without having to stay in the middle of the crowds. You can enjoy the beautiful coastline and a much more relaxed atmosphere, while still being only a short journey from all the main attractions. There's also a supermarket just a couple of minutes' walk away, which is really convenient. The only minor criticism is the rooftop pool. While it's a lovely space with great views, it's quite small for a hotel of this standard and can feel a little limited during busier times. That said, it's a very minor point in what was otherwise an excellent stay. We couldn't really fault the hotel, and if we return to Dubrovnik, we'd happily stay here again or somewhere very close by. Highly recommended."
