"The family owned & operated hotel was very nice and couldn't have been more helpful during our stay. There was construction happening while we were there but they made sure not to bother the guests. Very nice place and we hope to get back there!"

"Didn’t like the service at front desk, especially in the breakfast area and also at the beach. Also didn’t like the pre paid card idea instead of using your credit card . Also had to pay for parking 8 euro per day as well as need to pay at the beach for umbrella per day. This hotel definitely is 2.5-3 star hotel not 4 . "

"Nice spot for people why like to hike. Quite reroute. Near by village is 10 min by car. Only a few spots to eat. On breakfast only yogurt and cakes with coffee. Coffee is excellent, but it is Italy it suppose to be that way."

"The property is located in a green and quiet spot at the foot of Gran Sasso and is a perfect location for planning walking and hiking activities in the Apennines. Popular and unmissable wakings are to the Rocca di Calascio and to the peak of Gran Sasso. From the Locanda the beautiful village of Santo Stefano is within walking distance and Calascio and Castel del Monte pretty villages are within short drive by car. Food at the Locanda restaurant is great, homemade pasta is highly recommended."

Very well equipped with a fabulous layout with multiple living spaces, bathrooms and kitchens. Loved our local contact person and welcome package. "This is our third stay at this delightful villa in Abruzzo. The facilities are excellent, the pool is a delight, surrounding area has a wealth of things to do - e-biking on the coast, walking in the mountains, picturesque mountain villages, hill-top towns like Penne and Chieti, wonderful food (the ice cream!). And the owner is a lovely lady, very helpful."

"The staff was outstanding, the room was clean and comfortable. It was a little on the small side, but only what is common for older European properties. There was a balcony, but the view was just the building across the street. The breakfast included was excellent. Conveniently located within walking distance of most things, especially transport. Got off our train from Rome, and we were at our hotel entrance in five minutes walking. Approximately a ten minute walk to the beach, with some wonderful cafes and gelato shops on the way. We will definitely stay here again."
