"The host was absolutely lovely and very welcoming, and the home itself is beautiful with generous gardens. That said, I found the room quite small – I had to place my suitcase on the bed to open it – and the mattress was very firm, which made for a less comfortable sleep. Because the room is on the ground floor near the front door, I was woken when new guests arrived around midnight. "Our bathroom had a slight sewer smell. The view was spectacular. An email from the hotel about check in procedure would have helped a lot. We drove to the end of the road and it was a 200 m walk with all of our bags. We didn’t know to walk to the hotel, check in, and they would come get our outfit us. "
