"For an older building, the owners have done a lot to keep it worth staying here. I am a repeat guest. Fridge and microwave in the room was a nice surprise. Good walk-in shower. The room smelled musty, but the room across the hall was being renovated. An easy 1/2 mile walk to the convention center and a handful of eateries with a couple of blocks. I observed plenty of parking in the early morning for a fairly booked hotel."

"Great place to stay! Comfy beds, all of the staff are super punctual, polite and personable if you like to chat, but mind their own selves also if you prefer to hermit in your room. (Which is a huuuuge perk for me cause since I like lots of privacy) I have been super greatful to stay here and I feel like the staff here is deserving of a shout out and possibly an award for "most accommodating". "I've stayed here before, so the issues were not unexpected, but it's so close to my family. The people staying there trash it, and the staff did try - once while I was there - to blow all the garbage to the sides where employees picked it up. A strange guy went through all the garbage cans, pulled things out of them, hid under staircases to go through the stuff, then left it all over the place. But I was treated very nicely by the staff and really appreciated how helpful they were."

"Its a Motel 6 so dont expect much. Front desk employee was really nice and helpful during our stay. Hotel is right by the I5 so easy to get around. Felt safe, walls a little thin. Big rooms but not much for amenities. Wife didnt like the pillows too soft."

"The gentleman who checked me in was delightful, and friendly. The area isn’t the best in town and homeless people were wandering around the area. That’s not the fault of Banfield and just part of Portland’s atmosphere. I would have preferred the a/c to be a little quieter, it sounded like a jet engine preparing for takeoff. I also would have appreciated a coffee machine. Overall it was adequate but not a luxury experience. 3.5/5 stars."

"We are a group of 8 friends who go on vacation for a week every year.( for over 30 years ) We are 70 years plus old! Property and views were wonderful. Many deer sightings, a view of the Columbia River. House was beautiful and updated, each couple had their own bathrooms attached to rooms. It is 3 stories, so if anyone has issues with stairs consider that when booking. We had no problem. Property owners were very attentive and would definitely recommend this property."

"This rental surpassed all our expectations in every way! I’ve stayed in numerous vacation rentals over the years, and this one was by far the best. The setting in the forest and on the Tualatin River was surreal. The attention to detail amazing. The Goat Shed & Zen dens were quite clean & cozy. As 2 older women, we felt very safe staying here. Overall centrally located and a quick drive down the road into West Linn offered several wonderful dining options. Definitely plan on staying here again....
