"We had a great time staying in the cabin in the forested foothills with a pond and meadow close to Salt Creek on the Straits as well as Lake Crescent. The accommodation is cozy, comfortable and a great place to relax! Don is a great host along with Blue, his Australian shepherd. We even saw elk in the meadow, enjoyed the many songbirds and frogs."

"Manitou Lodge is in a beautiful tropical forested area. The Lodge and our bedroom were homey and nice. Our bed was the most cushy of all on our road-trip. The bathroom, however needs attention. The outdated pink tub had black mold everywhere! The sink area also needs replacing. "

We have two younger kids who adore being able to walk out the front door and have a personal beach to explore.
