"We just returned from an amazing stay at this 2-bedroom condo, and it exceeded every expectation! The location is unbeatable — truly just 7 minutes to Schuss Mountain for incredible skiing (or summer golf), right in the heart of Shanty Creek Resort, and only a quick drive to Short's Brewery in Bellaire for beers and pub grub. We loved how central it was to all the best activities in Northern Michigan.The condo itself is super cozy and well-equipped. The fireplace was the highlight — nothing beats curling up by the fire after a day on the slopes or out exploring. The living space felt warm and inviting, the kitchen was fully stocked for easy meals, and both bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of space for our group.Everything was clean, thoughtfully set up, and the resort amenities (pools, hot tubs, shuttles) made it feel like a true vacation upgrade. Whether you're here for winter sports, golfing, hiking, or just relaxing with a beer from Short's, this spot is ideal.We can't wait to come back — highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect mix of adventure and comfort. 5 stars all the way! "The condo offered a considerable amount of space. The kitchen provided spices, paper and cleaning products. The bathroom had liquid soap, shampoo and cream rinse in the shower. The queen bed was extremely comfortable and the linens were high quality. The property manager was very polite and easy to work with when I had questions. The one down side is there really isn't a place to swim at the condo. We learned that all beaches do not have bathrooms. We enjoyed visiting the surrounding small towns. "

"Another great summer vacation week! Hot and sunny just like we’d hoped for. This was our 8th year renting this cottage. We enjoy being centrally located between Alden and Bellaire on Clam Lake. We spend the majority of our week enjoying the lakes and can easily head out to Torch Lake or go up the Grass River into Lake Bellaire. The covered dock space works great for our 23’ pontoon. Lots of restaurants and golf courses in the area to choose from as well as some cute shops in Alden. Family vacation isn’t complete without our furkid, so we appreciate this cottage allowing dogs. Our lil pug loves boating with us. The lake view never gets old and we all enjoy having coffee on the front covered porch over looking the lake. See you next year! "
