"This house has an ideal location to see lots of local sites of interest in the Hyde Park and Poughkeepsie area. Easy trip from there to West Point, Hyde Park and the Culinary Institute from the location, and great restaurant, Tiramasu, is very close. The house is immaculate! The beds were very comfortable, linens were provided, the bathrooms were spacious and the five of us had plenty of room for our toiletries. The house has steps to its multiple levels for all essential rooms, not accessible. We only cooked breakfast in the house, but there were sufficient pans, toaster, and microwave available. It would help if there were directions provided for using the appliances, thermostat, and tv, all appliances are very high end and instructions would help in using the touchpads. It would be great to have checking out instructions I posted somewhere in the kitchen. You will need a four wheel drive vehicle to make it up the very steep driveway, it took us several tries even with it. I have rented many VRBO homes, this is a very nice one, we were not disappointed. I thank our hosts for working with us during our stay, it was a wonderful trip for us."

"I was a little worried when I saw the old hotel on the road hoping this wasn’t the hotel. Then we drove around back and saw the new hotel and was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful hotel and very clean. Pool wasn’t open but that was ok for us as we just stayed for one night. Definitely would stay again. "
