2.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (140)
"Awesome hostel. More of a hotel than a hostel. We had a private room for 4. The rooms were clean, smelled fresh, the beds were on the firm side and comfortable for us, the pillows weren't flat but nice and comfy. Everything smelled and looked new. The breakfast had a lot of variety and very good. Parking is a block away and not free but discounted."

University of Galway Rooms
3.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (2)
"Beautiful area and amazing to walk around. It’s easier to walk through the university campus than to walk around it (I made that mistake on arrival). It would be nice if the property provided some coffee and tea. I’ve never seen any place that didn’t provide that (including several university accommodations). "

"The staff were at the front desk 24hrs and they were very friendly and helpful. The private family room was very clean and felt safe. There was a free breakfast that consists of bread or cereal. Free coffee and tea all day too! Free towels to use daily also. Highly recommend this hostel when looking for an affordable stay in Galway."

"Budget accommodation without the manky factor, on lovely campus. Helpful staff. Bed not so comfortable, but everything clean and fresh. Shower a problem - impossible to adjust or aim, stinging pressure but mostly missed your body and soaked your hair. In all, enjoyed our stay, and felt it was good value. "

The Savoy Hostel
2.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (31)
"Easy check in, good facilities and generally clean. Some guests brought plates and food into the rooms which were left there overnight. Also some guests being very loud at 3am in the supposedly quiet area, when there is a common room downstairs. Staff need to enforce the rules to ensure comfort for all guests. Rooms a little warm and stuffy but much better than most hostels, comfortable beds, storage lockers and plugs/reading lights/usb at each bed."
