"The hotel area itself has broken old doors all over and looks run down. Our room was freezing, even with the AC off, to the point where I couldn't sleep. The bed had a sheet and little cover, but no blankets. I slept in 2 sweatshirts and my slippers but it was still too cold. Half of the room outlets didn't work and the room smelled musty and dingy. In addition to the pet fee, they also charged me a $50 "pet deposit" which is not mentioned anywhere on any of the booking sites. I would have picked another hotel had I I own about the additional hidden cost because it brought this hotel to our most expensive (yet least appealing) of the trip. Lots of freeway traffic since it's on a busy road. We had an upstairs non-smoking unit (the smoking area on the first floor, which doesn't make sense) and the room smelled like old smoke. It was hard to breathe, flared my asthma, and gave me a bloody nose. Just no appeal here.
I’ve tried to call about my “deposit” refund, but it goes to voicemail, nobody answers, and nobody returns my messages. It’s just a fee they collect and don’t advertise anywhere. "
