"Came to the cottage for some solitude and quiet between jobs. This was just what the doctor ordered. Close enough to town for easy access, but far enough away that it was always quiet and peaceful. Sitting in the chairs on the river was truly amazing. Jane was a fantastic host; would definitely recommend staying here, and would happily come back on my next trip to Woodstock."

"Lovely, immaculate home with great attention to detail! Gorgeous surroundings with ALL of the comforts of home. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna tremendously and even spun some vinyls. Saundra was an awesome hostess with prompt communications. She left easily understandable directions for everything…from use of the house to recommendations for local things to do, restaurants, etc.! We wish we had more time, so we will be back! "

"The owner took the time to meet me upon arrival and answer any questions I had about the surrounding area. The property sits on a quiet well-maintained corner lot. The surrounding barns are well maintained. The inside of the cottage is clean and functional. Full kitchen is perfect for short and long term stays. Couch and bed are very comfortable.
