"The hotel was warm, clean and extremely efficiently run. The breakfast was well cooked and very well presented. My only criticism was that the service was over-controlled. When shown to my table, I was advised that the waitress would come and explain how things worked. but unfortunately, she did not but I overheard another guest being advised not to help himself from the buffet since the waitress had to serve the food. I was actually served by someone else - I asked for fried eggs, tomatoes and...

"This small hotel is set in beautiful surroundings, walking distance to the village of Wrea Green and a short drive to Litham/St Anne's. Our stay was just perfect with lovely comfy beds and everything we needed in our room. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was immaculate. We didn't use the bar or restaurant but it looked very nice with lots of lovely outdoor seating for good weather. I can highly recommend the hotel "

"10/10. Gorgeous hotel, fabulous spa area with sauna, steam room and whirlpools. Very very clean. Only downside was the thin walls of the hotel and a bridal party shouting in the halls at 6am but I would be stressed too so I’ll let them off :)"
