Second Street Suite - a one-bedroom apartment located in Clearfield - gateway to the 'Backroads, Backwoods, Backwaters' of the Pennsylvania Wilds. Close to the Elk Herd, Curwensville Dam, Parker Dam & S.B. Elliot State Parks; Bilger's Rocks, wineries & Rails to Trails.

Downtown, 1 block to river & parks. Taffy Spa & Salon across the street. Short walk to restaurants (Ethan's Cafe, Moena's Italian, Scotto's, Main Won & the Angry Bean Coffee Shop), shops (Historica Antiques, Bob's Army Navy, Grice's Gun Shop, Jim's Sports & more), library, churches, Ritz Theater and local community theater. 1 mi. to Denny's, home of the world's largest hamburger - 2 mi. to Super 322 Drive-in.

Clearfield fair
We arrived early no problem got in and settled toured the town ate at Bucks Pizza which was delicious went to clearfield fair saw Larry the Cable guy walked to and from the fair enjoyed the snacks provided by the host checked out the following morning great place great time!!

Very confusing VBRO listing
We ended up staying at the Victorian B and B instead of the property we had rented. The listing was very confusing and had no street address. I contacted the owner and she suggested that we come to their B&B instead of the apartment. We were extremely happy with the B&B and the wonderful owners. The original listing was NOT a B&B. Again the confusion was caused by a poor listing on VBRO.

Loved the roominess and the location of this property. It was clean and well kept with nice furniture and appliances. The owner was friendly and accomodating. The breakfast provided was delicious. The only complaint was not about the property but the lack of social distancing and use of masks in public areas. This is not a town for anyone worried about the virus. The fall foilage nearby was lovely.

Great stopover between college visits
My wife, my son and I stayed at Peggy's apartment during a road trip to several colleges in the area. It was a perfect stopover - comfortable, very clean, good AC, a lovely breakfast and off-street parking. And Peggy is a warm and hospitable host, and a lovely person. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely stay there again if my son goes to school in the area!
