Unique and charming inn!

Room decoration is super. Bed is so comfy. Restaurant foods are excellent. Only down is that entry is very narrow to get into the property.

Stayed for one night while traveling south. Room was clean. Parking was on site. Breakfast was good.

My husband and I didn't know what to expect. We pulled up right after dark and we were greeted with a hotel that resembled a castle all lit up and beautiful. This was the best stay on our two-week trip. The room was the biggest, and it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. And our host, Mick, was wonderful to talk to. Plus, we got to participate in Quiz Night! I was surprised to enter a B&B through the bar, but once I figured it out, that was fine, too. A most enjoyable evening and a great stay.

We had a very lovely time Mike and Elena were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much. The hotel has been refurbished to a high standard and the conservatory and outside dining space was brilliant. The food was delicious and plenty of it ( too much) We will definitely go back The locals were very friendly to strangers

Really enjoyed our stay at this modernized Victorian boutique hotel. Staff and owners were a major factor in making the stay so memorable. The updated property is immaculate, and has an excellent location in Keswick. Highly recommended as long as you don’t mind climbing stairs.

This is a beautiful and cozy house, aged but well maintained. The host is really kind and nice. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy, breakfast is fantastic. Kids love to play with the dog. Everything is wonderful, highly recommended.

My wife and I had a great stay at this property for a 4-day visit to the Lake District and could not have been happier. It's located on a quiet street of homes and guest houses, but is a short walk to the center of Keswick as well as my new favorite movie theater, the Alhambra Cinema, and our now-beloved local, the Dog & Gun Pub. We really felt pampered here. Loved the area. Great if you’re a dog lover. Food was excellent and bar was warm and cozy.

This is a hotel in a small community on the costal estuary. Not a 5 star Marriott, but you wouldn’t want one in this quaint town.
