"We were on our way to NE Arkansas for an Eclipse viewing. I had originally booked a chain hotel. And then I found this little slice of heaven. Who wants a chain hotel experience when this is the same price?? Everything was just perfect. All the details were appreciated! Highly recommend. Do need to be able to maneuver steps to the loft. I'm one week out from knee replacement and managed it."

Overall, it was clean enough except for the couch cover which may have been clean but had hair and lint embedded in it. I put a blanket over before sitting but it was my blanket from my car because there is no extra bedding at the apartment. There also isnt any eating utensils. "The Black Palace was just that! Decor was very enchanting and interesting. The room was extremely clean and fresh. The towels and sheets smelled amazing. The interaction with the host was informative and timely. Adam is a very conscientious host. The only downside of the stay was the noise level because of the bar next door and people on the street. We were aware of that because of other reviews and it did not dampen our enjoyment of our stay."
