"We were not booked in via Vrbo ? Apparently it had to be done manually? Clearly the communication between Vrbo and The Ivy was not working, however a room was found for us, had to be changed from a double to a twin as per specifics of our booking. Newly decorated and carpeted room, very lovey, dated shower and NO mattress cover on the my single bed ? Yuk. "If you want to be in a central town location with everything in walkable distance, then this is a good choice. Well furnished, with modern fixtures and fittings, the kitchen was good for self-catering. It has a mini fridge/freezer. Also the bathroom has a power shower. My only challenge was poor natural light as all window panes were frosted for privacy reasons. Ok for a short stay, but not for an extended one. For this reason, I think the apartment is somewhat overpriced. Clifden is difficult...
