"The Ocean Surf was a nice hotel. The pools are wonderful. We loved having the beach right across the street from us. Very close to restaurants and shops. The staff that checked us in was very informative, kind and welcoming. However, on the second day of our stay we asked for more towels and were told they would be brought to our room and never arrived. Our room floor definitely was not swept well, it was pretty sandy. Overall our stay a 3.5/5"

"We had a great stay in York. The house was roomy, clean, comfortable, and able to accommodate a beach vacation for 20. Our host was easy to communicate with and responded to questions immediately. He went out of his way to make our trip easy and it seemed he sincerely want us to have a nice trip - it felt less transactional and more like a friend hosting us. We hope we can make another visit again soon."

"We had 15 people in this lovely Maine house (8 adults, 7 kids aged 2-10) and it was quite comfortable. Location is great right on York Harbor and you can sit on the front porch and watch the boats go by. If you like to cook for large groups it’s great to have 2 dishwashers, 2 sinks, double ovens. It could probably use some large sized pots for steaming lobsters or cooking pasta, but otherwise has what you need. If you’re not into cooking on vacation there are good restaurants nearby, we visited Bobs and Lobster Cove both with delicious seafood and outdoor seating that made things easier with the kids. The pool got a lot of use, especially by the kids. Hosts were very responsive and a fun time was had by all!"

"This is a very beautiful historic home that has been beautifully decorated in its interior. It is cozy and comfortable for a large family The host is friendly very helpful and has included many supplies for the guests such as hand soap in the bathroom with shampoo and lotions and dish soap in the kitchen. The kitchen is complete with everything you need to prepare a meal for a large family. There are many toys and games in the porch/game room. The rooms are painted in soft calming pastels The front porch is amazing and complete with comfy chairs for the whole family including a porch swing. You can walk to a beach down the road and to an Amazing ice cream shop in the other direction. It is near the harbor and local fun sites such as the wiggly bridge and fisherman’s walk. Our family would return to this house. It was a most pleasant and beautiful home to relax and refresh oneself in."
