"We had another lovely stay at the Lower Mill estate. Kids enjoyed the watersports, bike rentals, swimming and tennis and the independence of having it all within easy access. The cottage was a good space for the 2 families - 2 mums, 4 kids with a well stocked kitchen. It was a little dusty as nobody had stayed for awhile, which did also mean a lot of quite large spiders. Probably inevitable as you are so near the water but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen or had to deal with!"

"Our Accomodation met all our needs. The kitchen was a little small but adequate. We loved being able to paddle board from the rear of our Accomodation. We did get stuck in the reeds though. Perhaps they need a little trim. The outdoor pool was heated so the kids were happy to splash around before dinner. We didn’t use the Spa. We did a couple of walks around the village and a little bit of nature spotting. I think it would be a good idea to create a larger adventure play area for the 10+...

Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. "A nice location outside of Bath with parking and within walking distance of local shops. Good sized bedrooms but needs darker blinds to keep out the light in the mornings. Dishwasher is useful and kitchen is fairly well stocked with equipment but was disappointed not to have a cafetiere to make coffee. Checkout time I was sent said 11 bit cleaner turned up before 10 which was an inconvenience as we had to rush. Would stay again as outside place would be lovely in good weather."

"From beginning to the end Catherine and Thomas have been brilliant. We arrived early and Catherine said we could go straight to the cottage, ( which with a 2 and half year old) saved us having to find somewhere to hang around for a couple of hours. As the other cottage wasnt being used at the time we were able to adjust our booking times of the pool if we needed to. The place itself is beautiful and has everything you need. "Overall I was pleased with the hotel and staff. My only issue, after a long drive and late check in, was the lack of food selection at the bar. The receptionist ensured me that I could get the same selection of food at the bar since the restaurant was closing. Two selections were shot down immediately. I was told only burgers and sandwiches were avaliable. I just expected a better menu."
