These family rooms are absolutely fabulous. Great offers, easily accessible from the town. A lovely quiet hotel. There are downstairs bars and restaurant but we didnt use them. However they seem comfortable, clean and welcoming "

"I didnt know what to expect, cos of the mixed nature of previous review. However, I was surprised. The hotel is old, obviously but they have done their best to keep it clean and tidy. The hallway to my floor was a bit dank, but it could be due to anything. The room however was very clean, comfortable I dare say. The rug could be changed but it was not an irritation. Everything you need for a basic room was there, including an Iron. So yes, I was surprised. "

"What a beautiful place to stay, old school service, fabulous gardens. Huge gorgeous room, lots of nooks and crannies to get lost in. Some feedback not a complaint - spa needs a jacuzzi esp outside to take in the views and changing rooms need to be regularly cleaned of excess water"
