"This is far from a 'boutique' apartment! It felt like a converted cellar, with very cold and dirty flagstones that were loose and breaking up in places. The apartment wasn't entirely clean. The bed was made up with fresh sheets, the kitchen surfaces had been cleaned and the bathroom was clean. However some of cookware was filthy and there were lots of places that obviously hadn't been cleaned in weeks with lots of dust and webs. There is a locked door in the bedroom that must lead to an outside space that let cold air whistle through on the windy night we stayed there. The steps leading down from street level are uneven and steep with no light at the bottom as the bulb wasn't working. The area outside the front door was filthy and rubbish was littering the ground. The clock didn't work, the stove extractor didn't work and there weren't any drying up cloths. It felt very uncared for. "
