Quiet place with a lot to do

This property was very nice. It is a quiet little cottage. The day of check-in the host sent me a ton of places to eat and things to do in the area. It was very nice to have the information for an area I wasn't super familiar with.

Spent a weekend in this cottage while attending an event for my daughter. Very cozy and comfortable. Host was great, with excellent communication. Renovations are taking place in adjacent units, however it did not impact my stay. Highly recommend.

Nice Vintage Cabin

This property is under construction. The cabin we stayed in was newly remodeled and very clean. It's a quirky, vintage place, very quiet and safe. The beach access requires a short drive and walk, it's not just out the back door. Overall, worth the price.

This weekend was my daughters 16th birthday. She loves the beach, we were looking for a place we haven't been before. I came across this one and went for it. We were not disappointed at all. This was such a cute little spot. Very clean and quiet for being on a busier street. Its set back far enough you dont hear traffic. Raj sent a ton of restaurants in the area and other places to go as well. His mother greeted us upon arrival, she was very sweet. Overall a great stay and will be back!

The cottage was cute, comfortable and quiet. The rest of the property is being renovated so try to overlook this. Raj was a good host, provided many minor amenities to make the stay comfortable; fresh flowers, snacks, water, fresh fruit, etc. The place needed a few more updates /additions to make it more comfortable. Raj stated he would take this into concideration. It was clean and comforatable.

A visit with family and friends

Although the property (as a whole) needs a complete renovation, the unit that I stayed in was very quant and clean. The attention to detail by Raj and his family was exceptional. Also, their customer service was outstanding. They are in the process of renovating. Due to the surrounding dilapidated buildings (on this property) I just couldn't give an overall 5 star rating. However, I would stay with the owner again and am eager to see what they will do with this property. The beach access is nice but you have to drive to it. The property sits on a busy (commercial) street, which (unfortunately) made it unsafe to walk to the beach for me. To sum up, the Shalom cottage is safe and clean and the hosts are outstanding! The price was fair (for the CT shoreline) and I will be back. Thanks Raj!

This experience tipped the scale from a work trip to a relaxing vacation! The cottage was perfect! I walked into a peaceful space with fresh bouquets of flowers which made it even more welcoming. Raj was so kind and checked in on me which I appreciated and also gave me some great recommendations for places for me to enjoy downtime taking photos. It really was a perfect visit and I hope to spend some more time there in the futures

Loved Shalom Cottage

The cottage was adorable and beautifully and comfortably furnished and appointed. We had a last-minute change to our reservation and the owner was very helpful in accommodating us, as well as guiding us to the property which was a little tricky to find. We had everything we needed including fresh fruit to our preference. Only wish the bathroom were a little bigger.
