"The studio of Alaine and Isobelle was ideal for my wife and myself they were very friendly and helpful. The village was situated well with a Coop, boulanger and a bar tabac who's owners were very pleasant and helpful and it was close to Royan and the place's we wanted to visit."

"Wonderful hosts that were unobtrusive but on hand when needed for help and advice. The pool is beautiful to relax in and by, located in a tranquil a garden setting. I would highly recommend the property as either a one or two night stopover when going further into France or as a base for a longer stay to explore the larger cognac region."

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The apartment was spotless, very well-equipped and close to everything I needed. I was delighted to have been collected and dropped off at the station too! The host Valérie was very responsive and keen to ensure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend!"

Il manque des ustensiles indispensables dans la cuisine : couvercle de casseroles, spatule... Il y faisait froid Ă  l'arrivĂ©e.Par contre trĂšs bon accueil par Cyrille. Magnifique bouquet de fleur Ă  l'arrivĂ©e, et des oeufs frais 2 fois durant le sĂ©jour. "

Celui-ci considĂšre le salon comme une chambre. Pas de serviettes de toilette. Et J en passe... Des photos et un rapport accompagne notre rĂ©clamation au loueur. "

"This is a lovely old hotel, recently refurbished I would imagine, in the centre of Cognac. Staff were friendly with a good command of English and our room was clean and comfortable with a fantastic shower! Breakfast was very good too! Parking is available but as we visited on a weekend we were able to park on the street outside for free. The hotel is very well located for bars and restaurants as well as the major brandy houses."
