Very cool little lake front cabin. The view of the lake is beautiful, very nice clean cabin with 2 stall garage. Highly recommended for anyone looking to getaway to a secluded comfortable location!
We enjoyed the remote location and well appointed home. Beautiful view of lake. Loved working from the covered deck, watching the birds and wildlife. Nice location for visiting area fishing lakes. Great time!
This place was perfect for us! The property is beautiful and just as remote as we were hoping. The house itself is simple but had everything we needed, and it was very clean and comfortable. We loved being able to see the lake and woods through all of the large windows even when inside. Overall it was a wonderful, relaxing stay and we hope to come back soon.
Everything as advertised. Secluded and peaceful. Would go back if ever in the area again. Our two dogs had plenty of room to run and a lake to swim in.
For New Years Eve we stayed here and it was absolutely stunning. Minnesota is cold in winter but the house was beautiful, warm and inviting. The private lake was geogeous even covered in ice. We enjoyed our stay and will likely do it again.
Listing was completely accurate! Our family had the best time using the water equipment provided at the property. We had total privacy, which we loved. Owners were great and very helpful. We would come again if ever back in the area!!
Our August stay was wonderful. My wife and I remarked more than once about the quiet and solitude, and how writers and artists would appreciate it. The quiet lake setting is beautiful, and we appreciated the Kayak available for use. These two retirees are more than willing to return again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
Exactly the vacation we needed... Remote and very quiet, but yet close enough to area attractions... Property was as described, very well taken care of and check-in was a breeze... Had a small issue with grill propane that Page immediately addressed... Overall a great experience and is highly recommended
This was the BEST cabin for our fall getaway! It was cozy, private, and quiet. The view of the lake from inside the cabin and from the backyard is spectacular. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, making cooking meals together a breeze. Our dog loved the yard and surrounding woods. The house was very clean and the host was responsive. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay again!
Beautiful property, exactly as stated! Clean, updated and beautiful view of MN lake. Just what I needed and expected. Check in was seemless!! Would definitely come back! Thank you!!
If you are looking for a private relaxing getaway this is the place to come. House/cabin was very clean and private. Was a bit cool at night and early mornings so wish we could have used the wood stove and one propane tank was empty but there was another one we used. Can hear neighbors and dogs but couldn't see any one so very private. I would highly recommend!
Cabin was clean and had everything we needed! Our dog loved running in the big yard and swimming. The kayaks, canoe and paddle board were all in good condition. Page was an awesome host and provided us with everything we needed and more! Cabin is close to battle lake and fergus falls and we explored those towns on rainy days and found lots of fun things to do. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!
Peaceful. Quiet. Fun. Beautiful overlook to the lake. Exceptional privacy. Great value. Dog friendly. Easy access to town. Deck was convenient with gas grill and blackstone cooking. Garage was filled with lake equipment. Nice dock and not another person on the lake all weekend. The property is gorgeous and well maintained. We will definitely be back.
We were happy to getaway from the noise of the cities with a cabin that allowed our pup (german shepherd and husky mix) to be off leash without worrying about running into neighbors. There was plenty of hot water for a relaxing shower after being out and about all day. The only downside was forgetting to bring coffee grounds, none in the house, and the nearest shop that was open on Sunday was in Alexandria.
We were looking for a quiet fall getaway and that is what we got. Perched on a small hill overlooking the lake, we were able to enjoy the weather, the color of the leaves (although we were just a bit late for the full display) and the setting sun while sitting on the covered patio. We were also able to walk thru the crunching leaves in the surrounding woods. The cabin was clean, quiet and comfortable. Thanks Page for a great place to find all of the above.
This is truly a gem. It is also an absolute steal for the extra amenities you get. The host was also amazing at responding to requests and very accommodating. The kids are already asking when we can go back. Already looking at coming back early next summer! Thank you for sharing your amazing property with us!!
Very quiet and comfortable stay. There are other houses on lake, but no docks, so it does feel like the small lake is all yours. Communication with host was efficient and cabin was clean and everything in good order... except there was no hot tub! :-(
The host explains in the guest book that due to dept. of health regulations the whirlpool has been removed. (Being the case, it should also be removed as an amenity).

Long weekend get away
It was a nice cabin, but felt like it wasn’t clean. Bedroom floor had ants which were all over our bags. We found a mice nest with babies in the grill. We were also told we could swim, our boys and dogs were filled with leaches. Fishing wasn’t good, only caught a couple small pan fish. It was private until Sunday morning when a group of people and kids came to our dock kayaking. Be prepared to cut your own firewood as they didn’t have any precut, as they said they have firewood. Bring hand soap for bathroom and kitchen sink, as there wasn’t any.
Location was beautiful and quiet. Communication with page was great.
