"Lovely hotel. The staff were brilliant and for the price that we paid the hotel was amazing value. We took our dog who was well looked after and the woodland in the hotels grounds were great for his walks. The food was really good value and there are some lovely places to visit. Loved our stay and already planning our return"

"Stayed here last night. Stevie on reception was fab, lovely, friendly girl. Room was great, clean, roomy with everything you needed. Breakfast this morning was really good with plenty of choice, the girl working there was lovely too. We would definitely stay here again if in the area and at £76 for 2 adults plus breakfast and parking, it’s a no-brainer."

"I made things complicated by having two separate third-party bookings for one night each (separate because plans changed, third-party because I can use Tesco clubcard vouchers) but they were able to arrange for me to move into an (upgraded!) room instead of having to check out and back in later. I enjoyed a lovely ride along the nearby Leeds to Liverpool canal."
