"We had an excellent stay. All of the staff we spoke to were super friendly and polite. The room was lovely, and the staff had gone to the extra effort to decorate for my partners birthday, which was a really nice surprise for him. We enjoyed using the spa, the bar and the breakfast buffet. It was a perfect base for exploring the local area, and somewhere we could come back and relax in the evenings. All for a very reasonable rate, would stay again. "

"Great hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Small things make all the difference and the experience was consistent all through the hotel. From a personable arrival at reception, giving me all the relevant info (last orders, gym opening times etc), friendly gym staff and great customer service and meal in the restaurant. I forgot my tooth paste and the lovely lady at the desk (apologies didn’t get name) gave me a toothbrush and toothpaste. I also didn’t know how to find the gym and she walked me there. Really made me feel valued as a guest. So much so, I enquired about the cost of the conference room for the day as hold quarterly business meetings with a small uk team who stay over the night before and have a full day meeting. I’ll be putting this hotel forwards as a suggestion for a future meeting. I work in sales and so stay in a lot of hotels weekly, all over the Uk. This is the first time staying here and is already in my top 5 hotels. Particularly love the gym and pool facilities which is what often draws me to picking hotels. Thanks Marriot Preston team! "Excellent stay at the Bolholt yet again, food is of a high standard the beds are really comfy and the staff are very helpful, a trip to the Stables Country club is a must and for only £8.50 pp, we enjoy coming here and will be back in the future"

"The staff are amazing! All of them! I stayed for 2 weeks. They were all so kind to me! The only things I didn’t like: there are doves in the garage and every day the car would be covered in excrements; also, there is no mini bar nor air con. It’s never too much to emphasize how great the staff are! I feel sorry for not being able to say goodbye to the ones that work at night. They’re stars! "
