"Very happy with the price. Free upgrade from club room to suite was appreciated. Lovely large fuffy towels. Very comfy bed and pillows. Staff were all welcoming. Small gym, pool, steam room and sauna on site. Minor draw back, bathroom door didnt shut properly and bath plug hole made gurgling noise even though we didnt use it."

"The hotel is recovering post-Covid and in the face of a shortage of key staff, but is managing to workaround. Food and beers excellent, and it is clearly the social centre of the village with the same people dropping in, out and socialising day after day. Bedrooms good, comfortable and well-serviced."
