"I reserved a king room with a jetted tub. When we arrived, check in was rushed as there was a line (not a big deal) but smooth. We got our key and made our way to the room. When we walked into the room we were immediately hit with the over whelming smell of cigarette smoke. Went to the front desk to notify them as this was supposed to be a non smoking property (not just room) and the gentlemen seemed confused that this was the situation. He went to the room to verify and sprayed a chemical spray made to get rid of smoke smells and told us that "it should be okay now". Plot twist, it wasn't. It just made the room smell like smoke and lemons. He then offered to move us to a different room without the tub and refund the difference " because he didn't have any other rooms with the tub" I stated that was fine, even though I was looking forward to the tub. He suddenly found another tub room, but it had a queen bed. The front desk stated that the manager would be in the next day and could talk to us about the situation. We took the room, and moved on with our night. Upon closer inspection of the room we found that it had not been cleaned properly as there was gold confetti all over the place. There was a spot in the carpet that had a sharp object protruding out that almost sliced my foot, and had to be covered with a towel so we didn't walk on it again. the Queen bed was comfortable enough, but we will not be returning."
