"Perfect location just outside Scarborough perfect for the outside concerts. Just 5-10mins drive. We had one of the outside little rooms at the back of pub with double bed and ensuite. 2 nights there and loved the pub the staff and food. Great location for Whitby, Robin Hood bay and Scarborough all in less than 30min drive."

"It is close to the railway station, all the main shopping streets, and plenty of places to eat and drink. The hotel is quiet, no traffic noise, and it is easy to walk to tourist attractions in South and North Bay from this central locations. I was glad I had booked this hotel as it exceeded my expectations."

"Well was nervous booking, but we actually loved our couple of days stay. When booking in got a slight upgrade from two singles sea view to a family seaview(double and a single). The price we payed is what we usually pay at a Travelodge, to have a room with a lovely sea view in a magnificent building was great value. Second night after a lovely meal at an Italian restaurant nearby we returned to the hotel for a few drinks , we then went thru to the ballroom and watched an ABBA tribute act again adding to the amazing value. As you can guess we enjoyed our stay, and we will hopefully return sometime next year. "

"Hotel was perfect location. Yes the walks were hilly but managable. Room was clean comfy beds very spacious. Only think is the heat in the room. Fan barly does anything. Overall we had a fantastic 2 night stay. Used the spa facilities. "
