"We really enjoyed this home. Well stocked, clean, and had everything we needed! Just for awareness, it was difficult for one adult with mobility issues to get to the dock without handrails on the stairs and floating ramp. Stairs to dock are also a little tall. We went to a public boat launch to get her on the boat. There’s also a small step down into the kitchen that kept catching the older guests off guard. None of these are big issues. We loved the house and would stay here again!!"

Lakefront Log Cabin on Beautiful Kerr Lake in downtown Clarksville VA

"Property was exactly as listed. It sits on the end of a quiet street with a dog park enclosure directly across the road and a fenced in private yard for anyone with 4 legged friends. The owners have a large beautiful sitting area between the main house and the cottage that is available to use. It has comfy chairs, wind chimes, grill and bar access. It was a nice place to sit, look out over the water and just relax. The house is a short walk, bike ride or drive into town. The music from Buggs Island Brewery can be softly heard at night from the enclosed back porch on the house. If you have a boat, docking is convenient just down the hill from the main house . A little cove for swimming is available as well, though the water was about 5 feet down during our visit ,leading to more than usual visible lake debris. This is part of vacationing on Buggs Island though, the water fluctuates. I would definitely stay here again. The owners were prompt at communication, the property was clean and had everything you might need. It was a wonderful visit to Clarksville.."

"We absolutely loved our stay and honestly wish we could leave more than 5 stars! The home was absolutely pristine, and it's obvious the hosts have put a tremendous amount of thought into every little detail that makes guests feel welcome and comfortable.We had four families with a total of 15 guests, and the house never felt crowded. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, relax, and enjoy time together.The welcome book we received prior to our stay was so helpful. It answered every question we had, and we really appreciated knowing ahead of time the shopping, grocery, and dining options nearby. The pizza place we tried was delicious!The kids had an amazing time with all of the games, and they spent hours at the lake using the paddleboards, kayaks, and floats that were provided. The adults were able to sit back and relax because of how much there was available there to entertain the kids. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with everything we needed to prepare family meals each evening, and the beds were comfortable, making it easy to unwind after busy days.We've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals over the years, and this is easily one of our favorites. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully appointed place to stay. Thank you Kelly for having us!
