"We picked a lake house instead of our usual beach trip for our anniversary and boy did we make the right decision. The house was spotless and welcoming, even included a welcome basket of snacks and coffee. We couldn't have found a house closer to the water. It was too cold for boating or kayaking, but we enjoyed sitting on the deck with a blanket watching the lake. We saw so many deer and heard all kinds of birds.
