"This was absolutely what we needed! A nice reset! Home away from home! The drive there was beautiful and once you get inside, it’s exactly as it is listed! The house was neat, clean, and artfully decorated. The home had everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner each day! A huge perk was having the farm-stand right outside the front door! Farm fresh eggs, bacon, gold potatoes, and candied jalapeños! Delish. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty’s of nature with the convenience of being able to hop in the car and drive 5-7 miles to stores to get what you need. We stayed in almost the entire time except to visit the Longwood Gardens and grab sushi which were excellent recommendations by the owners! The only disappointment was we couldn’t stay longer. Thank you again for the memories. We will be back in the fall to hike the trails and explore and give the farm animals more pets! "

"Kitchen was fully equipped and loved the Ice machine, since I am a big user of ice! Great dishes, silverware, etc. The only complaint my daughter and I had were the two fry pans! they were sooo hard to clean! "

"I throughly enjoyed my stay at the boathouse. It was walking distance to a lot of local things in Downingtown and a quick drive to Exton, King of Prussia, and West Chester. I was able to visit a lot of historic sites even in town. I got some beautiful photographs of the area, walk through the park and I saw many birds (Blue Heron) and an Eagle’s nest nearby! The hosts were very attentive with communication via the app. I loved that there was a washer/dryer on premises and extra towels in the bathroom. The kitchen had some basic spices, dishwasher pods and some water in the fridge which I appreciated. I’ll definitely be looking at this location for another solo break to write and paint! Thank you so much for having me and hiding this little gem so close to everything! I’ll definitely stay here again!"

"We rented the farmhouse as a base for visiting family back home over Christmas week, and it was like living in a Hallmark Christmas movie house. Absolutely beautiful, incredibly private, tastefully decorated for Christmas, and stocked with anything you could ever possibly need (and more!). One thing that made the week a success for our 3-generation group was the layout: my elderly parents got the master bedroom/bath, my husband & I and teenage kids took the other "half" of the upstairs. Between this feature and the two separate living spaces on opposite sides of the first floor, this was absolutely ideal for grandparents who go to bed at 8 vs the college kids staying up til 2 :). Only wish we could've enjoyed the outdoors more- this would be a lovely summer rental too. Then again, I enjoyed hiding out from the snow and ice in the library and could've spent a week just enjoying all the books. Just wonderful."
