"Super choice of hotel as it is near the station, so it easy to get to & from. It is also located a bit away from the main shopping area, so quieter than if nearer the town. The staff too were very friendly & helpful."

The bar was also good and although we didn't eat the food looked good. The hotel and bar are very dog friendly. Everyone was warm and welcoming, we really enjoyed our stay. "The Pine Marten is very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel building is separate from the pub so no noise. The bedroom was clean with all facilities. The bed was (unlike in some hotels) very comfortable. Had continental breakfast each day at £6 odd. It was adequate but no yoghurt mixed with berries like at Premier Inn and Holiday Inn Express. Also the music being played was dire . Funeral music "

The room was super clean and quiet. A lovely stay if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle, which a quaint village feel. This has a family feel to it!
