"Great place as a base for exploring the Borders. Overall stay was good. Room was exceptionally clean(had a couple of minor niggles but these were dealt with happily and swiftly). Stayed in a double which was quite small (with only one bedside table). Would 'upgrade' to a larger room if staying again. The best thing about this hotel is the people and the outstanding service they provide-nothing too much trouble and so friendly. Ooh- and good food including a fab breakfast. "

"Room was very nice. Beautiful manor, quiet countryside surroundings. Dining and lounge area first class. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Only regret we had was only booking for one night! If we return to the area, we’ll be staying again!"
