"The breakfast menu was tasty for both of us. The room was clean and beautiful decorated, the bed was comfy. Everything was excellent, the proprietors were very helpful and gave a warm welcome to everyone."
"The location was great because it’s not too far from the beach but it’s much quieter than the places on Belgrave Road. The bed is comfortable and the breakfast was great with nice quality sausage and bacon. Hosts are very welcoming. "
"Wonderful holiday, 5 day stay, owners both very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for both of them, breakfast lovely, rooms clean. Close to town centre and ocean front and theatre."

"Very helpful, friendly staff, delicious food, luxurious hotel, loved my huge room and bathroom (best shower ever!), parking available on the street and in the garage, and on the seafront, about 10 minutes walk into town. Brilliant experience."
"The hotel location is perfect and they have an extensive pay and display car park (£ 9 for 24hrs).
We stayed in an unfurnished room which was finr Mme "
"Had a fabulous stay, some things maybe a little dated but they are working on that and cannot wait to see the hotel when it has been done. It's still a beautiful hotel and cannot wait to stay again"
"A lovely stay at The Briarfields. Charlie and his wife were welcoming and helpful. The room was modern and tastefully decorated, and the breakfasts were delicious. "
"Lovely friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble 😀 bed was comfortable room service was excellent. Highly recommended. Evening meal with entertainment was superb. "
"The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. We only stayed for 1 night, but got to try out the free pool for a quick swim before breakast. Breakfast was all you can eat buffet which at £10 i thought was good value. Parking is a bit of a problem, but the building is Victorian era so to be expected. The room we had was in need of a bit of TLC with the decor, but the bed was soft and clean and the ensuite was modern.
We will definitely consider staying here again when we're next in Devon."
"Could not praise these appartments more. So well equipped and lovelly inside. Brilliant location, far enough way from the town to be nice and quite, but near enough to walk which saves on the teying to park game. Steve the host lovelly, helpful and obviously cares about your stay and he will help and assist you in any way he can
