The room was fairly clean although furniture has seen better days. Seafront views are spectacular. Hotel is a 10 minute walk to city centre which is nice if you want to try various places to eat, also there is a nice south west coast trail near by if you fancy a nice walk. The stay was relatively lovely although I would like to stay in other places with a seafront view if I’m to visit Torquay again

The staff were all pleasant and helpful but thin on the ground and overstreched. To have to wait 15 to check in on a Friday evening because there is only one receptionist is a very poor first impression. The general ambience was of a rather tired and inadequately serviced hotel which was not good for the price. Rooms were fine and the breakfasts were exceptionally good
