"The Bocas Del Toro hotel is awesome! The entire hotel is done in a nautical theme. It is a quiet and safe hotel and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant downstairs has a special burger made with the chefs artisan bread. It’s sooo good! Be careful in Bocas because there are many bars and loud discos that go late into the night. The Bocas Del Toro hotel gets quiet after the dinner crowd leaves and you get a restful night. "

"I had an absolute brilliant stay here! The hotel is located only steps from the airport and just a couple of blocks from the main street of Bocas del Toro. The room was decent and it had a great balcony where you can sit and watch the planes arrive and depart the island. Kind of a cool and unique experience. The hotel owner Marcel and his wife Ana were also super wonderful!"

"Lula’s was a very pleasant and convenient location. The building is very charming. The hosts were both friendly and helpful. Despite some nearby construction our overall experience was very positive. I would stay there again without hesitation. Very clean and comfortable rooms and beds and very cozy common areas on the second floor deck. "

"An amazing stay, facilitated by fabulous hosts. The hosts began communicating about our upcoming stay several weeks in advance to arrange transportation to the property. We were met at the airport and taken to the lodge. The jungle house is very nice, well equipped with internet, kitchen, fan, full screen for an open air experience. Each morning and afternoon we were greeted by the sounds of birds. Unless you travel to another island you are limited to preparing your own dinner, or enjoying the reasonably priced and delicious selections each evening at the lodge. The provided breakfasts were wonderful, and reasonably priced upgrades are available. The hosts were always available, and it was quick and easy to communicate via WhatsApp. Arranging dinner, water taxi rides or excursions. Depending upon your room location there can be a number of stairs. Internet works okay, but would not be great if you need consistent high speed. Why would you want to be on the internet working, rather than enjoying the island life. LTE phone service is consistent. The screens and fan keep the room comfortable. Taxi’s to other islands are $5 to $10 per person each way. We enjoyed the quiet and natural feeling of this island, and traveled on excursions daily. We can’t wait to return! "

"Staff were great, Oliver took extra care of us and issues that arose. Great location, pool and beach were great. Using their shuttle to get around was helpful as the staff would point out sloths or red frogs and share information. "
