Welcome to River's View! This one bedroom, one and a half bathroom apartment is just a short drive from historic downtown Cody. This home features a back deck with great views of the Shoshone River and Heart Mountain. River's View offers all the comforts of home to enjoy on your vacation!

Walking in to River's View, you'll feel instantly welcomed by the woodland décor and comfortable furnishings. The open kitchen, dining, and living space which makes it easy for you and you guests to converse while relaxing or cooking dinner. The kitchen is well-appointed to make meal preparation a breeze. Full size appliances and all the kitchen amenities you would need. A cozy dining room to gather around with your morning cup of coffee. Kick back in the spacious living room with comfortable furniture and TV with cable channels and a DVD player. There is an electric fireplace for cool evenings and a portable air conditioning unit for warmer evenings.

The living space has a queen sofa sleeper that will comfortably sleep two guests. Off the main living area, there is a half bathroom with grab bar near the toilet. A spacious bedroom past the living room has a queen bed and ample storage space for your travel wardrobe. Sliding glass doors open to the bedroom balcony where you can sit and enjoy the views of the Shoshone River.

Great 74th Birthday vacation

This is a great place to stay, with a fantastic view of the Shosone River. Well stocjed with everything you could possibly need. Bed was very comfortable. Very nice area, very close to the beautiful town of Cody. We even saw mule deer down the block on a early adventure to Yellowstone. We will definitely stay here again!

This house was perfect . Location was very near downtown Cody, which puts you close to everything but out of earshot of any noise. The house was extremely clean & had all the needed amenities. The bed was super comfortable. The back porch faced the river & gave excellent

Good for what we did

Not as many things in the kitchen as we are used to, but do able. The internet said I was connected but was so slow I couldn’t do anything. My husband has a hot spot on his phone so we just used it. The place itself was very nice and the bed was comfortable. We spent most of our time out and about, so it work well for us.

we flew out from South Carolina. been 11 years since our last visit to wyo. was nice and quiet. we love the layout and décor. i did not realize. it was part of another home, till i got the instruction email. which was not a big deal. it has its own entrance and there no access the main house. was a little uncomfortable with the deck and back yard being attached. the homeowners could walk by the bedroom windows at anytime. i ended up moving the little grill from the side walkway of the deck to the back. made it a little tight, but i didnt want the homeowners to have to watch me, if the wanted to enjoy the view or sit and enjoy the main deck. that and i didnt want to be watched. the home owners gave us plenty of space and we did the same for them. we never saw or heard them, and we tried to be unseen and heard as well. (we didnt go to be loud. we went to chill out). there is a tree growing up and is starting to block the view. but still a great view. mule deer would walk the river bank in the morning. so we got to see wildlife from the deck. we do plan on making, a annual trip to Wyoming again, now that our kids are grown. like we did years ago, before the kids got expensive. we are planning the next trip right now. we might rent a different location just for a different view. but we have no problem renting rivers view again when we visit Cody. we are talking about camping the wind river canyon next year. still early and plans may change and we may end back up in Cody.

This was an amazing place to stay! We truly only slept and showered here, but this was easy to come and go as it was close to town! The view was amazing! We loved ending our day by sitting on the back porch planning our next day! We were often joined by deer, kayakers and white water rafters! This home was very clean!

A two night stay

The apartment was very clean and the view from balcony was unbeatable. The bed was very comfortable but the pullout sofa was uncomfortable and should probably be replaced with a new model.

Property was well kept, appears to have been an in-law suite at one point. Owners live on propery as well, but we didnt have any interaction with them. The deck off the bedroom provides a great view, perfect place to relax after a day of traveling.

Riverside cottage

Overlooking the Shoshone River is an excellent place to stay. Well- furnished, very clean and close to town The extra half-bath was a real plus. But my favorite part was sitting on the porch watching the river. Even had a quick visit from a very shy deer! Loved our stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was quiet, yet close to the attractions like the Irma hotel. We loved our view of the Shoshone River from the back deck area and spent a great deal of our time there watching people boating down the river and spotting wildlife. One morning there were three deer just outside the fence in front of the deck. One evening we watched deer down by the river. We happened to be staying during the stampede and Independence Day. The park and trail just down the street were prime fireworks viewing spots.

Our 1st Vrbo stay and would HIGHLY recommend this property. We explored the surrounding area and this made for a great central location. Quite neighborhood, off street parking, comfortable accommodations and beautiful views from the rear porch overlooking the Shoshone River. Having a place to come "home" to at the end of the day made for a wonderful stay in Cody!!!

Comfortable and close to fun

The rental home is very comfortable! It has three main areas: a kitchen with everything you need to make meals. A TV room with plenty of seating and a pull out bed. And a cozy bedroom that has a balcony overlooking a river. My husband and i felt lucky to be there and to have so many options within walking or a driving distance of a few minutes, to go to museums, landmarks, and grocers. The hosts have done their very best to anticipate the needs of their renters. You can sense how much they care. I would stay here again without a second thought.
