Nestled in the heart of Cody this rustic retreat is within easy walking distance to downtown yet tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The Shoshone River and Paul Stock nature trails are just blocks away.
This home is tastefully decorated to convey an authentic western experience. Our home features a spacious open beam living room, leather furniture, and a wood stove for those cooler evenings, as well as 2 A.C. units to keep guest comfortable in warmer weather. The kitchen is open and fully stocked with all the necessary utensils to accommodate your cooking needs. Enjoy your morning coffee in the cheery four seasons sunroom before heading out to explore all that Cody and Yellowstone have to offer.
The home also features two unique bedrooms that comfortably accommodate four adults, as well as a full twin rollaway to sleep an additional guest. The bathroom is very roomy with a full size washer, dryer, and laundry soap for your convenience. Backyard patio area with fire pit, grill, and outdoor furniture allow you to enjoy the evenings outside as you listen to the nightly gunfight going on at the Irma.
We truly hope by the time you leave you will have made your own Wyoming memories.

We had a great stay at this property. It was perfect for what we needed. The house/cabin was very clean , well stocked, and only 3-4 blocks from Main Street. Easy walking distance to most stuff in Cody.

Beautiful home close to town

Thank you for the wonderful home. The house was the perfect size for our family of five and very close to town. Everything was very clean and the house came with all the essentials for our two night stay.

Amazing Family Friendly Home Away From Home

We absolutely loved our stay and used it as a home base while we explored Yellowstone and the Cody area. The property owner clearly puts in care and thought into making this a comfortable stay. She even found clothing I accidentally left in the dryer and contacted me to work out mailing them. Her home truly felt like a home away from home. We had two adults, a child, and two teens and it was just right. The drive from Cody into Yellowstone was beautiful! We were so happy we chose to stay here.

Cute house, great location

We loved the way this house is decorated! It's spacious and comfortable, and the sunroom was a great space for morning coffee. We also loved the location -- easy walking distance to downtown. Nice quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the wi-fi is weak and unstable. We definitely couldn't stream any shows, and without streaming, it was painfully slow and disruptive. These days, strong wi-fi is a must. Otherwise, the house was perfect.

Super spot for family fellowship!

We really enjoyed being in Rachel's home! It was wonderfully adorned with Western artifacts, and has a super library on Western history. It's location near downtown Cody allows for easily breaking up a day of shopping or sightseeing! Plus, there was a mule deer in the neighbor's yard to welcome us. Our Scripture verse for this trip was Ephesians 3:20... "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine..." This home indeed was more perfect than we imagined! Hope you can enjoy it too! ♥

Nice little house in town

We enjoyed our week long stay in this little cottage within city limits. It had all the basic amenities that we needed. It was close to downtown & the major spots in town. The kitchen & bathroom were clean & spacious. The bedrooms were standard size & also had the bare basics. We could have used a few more blankets for the bedrooms & living room though (we stayed during February), and a couple more towels for the bathroom. And unfortunately we weren’t able to sign the guest book because there were no pens in the entire house. We would recommend this house for a couple on a getaway, or a young family with one or two young children.

Great little place close to downtown

Excellent choice for a visit to Cody!

My husband was in Cody for a week taking care of family business and stayed at The Wyoming. The house was well equipped, comfortable, and centrally located. The washer and dryer were a big plus. And, although the house is in town, a family of deer stopped by each day for a short visit, which was a bonus. The hosts were friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!

The Wyoming - Cody

This is a cute place!!! Nicely stocked, close to shopping and dining, and gives the visitor the full western experience. Had a little trouble with the TV and Internet, but, was not a deal breaker. We even had mule deer visit in the back yard – a very welcome treat. The neighborhood is quiet and certainly worth a look. We found Cody a lovely town with welcoming shop owners. Visitors should recognize it is a long drive over to the east entrance to Yellowstone. But that drive is filled with amazing sites. We had the opportunity to photograph a local grizzly bear near Lake Yellowstone so that was a treasure we collected! It rained a couple of days while we were there, so we took in the Buffalo Bill Center of the Wild West. We were concerned it would be a tourist trap – it was not, and we really enjoyed that visit. And we highly recommend Pat O’Hara’s Brewing Company – it’s right around the corner from the house. Good food and brews. Thanks Rachel for a good trip!

This cozy home met our family’s needs perfectly. It was close to downtown and all the locations we visited during our stay. The home was decorated perfectly, was well stocked, and comfortable. We couldn’t have been happier!
