Our stay at Casa dos Carvalhos was excellent. The place is sparkling clean and the design of the the guest house is neat and elegant. High ceilings and natural wood create the atmosphere of upscale leaving. We would like to specifically thank the staff at Casa dos Carvalhos for their hospitality, we felt welcome there.

Very nice and clean facility. The property host Ana is very gracious and friendly. Room decor is modern and pleasing. Upper rooms have balconies with nice view of the city. Kitchen facilities onsite if required. Some walking involved to get into the historic center.

Lovely room with shared kitchen and laundry.

Elevated location with a short walk down to the commercial area. Needed a taxi to get back up the hill. Fitter people probably would not have that problem. Ana was very welcoming even though we arrived early.

Friendly neighborhood stay Coimbra

Off the tourist area by 10 -15 minutes but worth it! Easy walk to restaurants and sights. Easy walk downhill and quick trip up by bus. Able to do laundry and had access to shared kitchen. Very organized with free street parking

splendida guesthaus! comodissima se si ha una macchina grAzie ai parcheggi liberi nelle vie attorno, la guesthaus si trova a sole tre fermate dal centro (fermata "casa de la musica" a venti metri). Le camere sono molto grandi e pulitissime ma la cosa che più stupisce è là professionalità, la gentilezza e la bravura di kelly, la ragazza che ci ha seguiti. Colazione a 5 stelle (brioches,yogurt, panini, affettati, uova, spremuta e macedonia preparate al momento) che oltretutto ti viene anche servita!

Appartamenti nuovi

La struttura è stata ristrutturata da poco. Gli appartamenti sono molto carini, puliti e curati così come il complesso dello stabile di cui sono parte. L’edificio non è situato nel centro storico mai si può raggiungere con una camminata di 15 minuti (al ritorno però mettete in conto di fare una discreta salita altrimenti prendete un taxi per meno di 10 euro). Là proprietaria del B&B è molto gentile.
