"My husband and I travel a ton and this place is one of the best we've ever stayed at. Not only is it a very unique and beautiful property, the staff and customer service were as good as it gets. We were greeted with a mimosa and some sweet bread and we were provided a picnic basket breakfast in bed that was superb. We were so impressed. "About a 15 minute walk from the portage along a paved river path. Staff supplied recommendations for dining and Fado options as we were booking in. Excellent buffet breakfast choices and we also enjoyed the Portuguese themed Thursday buffet. There looked to be a number of families staying and a good activity schedule for children. Theme for this hotel was ballet."
