"Rooms are tired and need a refresh. Bathroom has shower within a bath, difficult to step over onto slippery floor even using a mat. All furniture is soiled and carpet well worn. Water pressure is poor. Other guests smoking on their balconies. Spoke to management weren’t really interested. Parking charged at additional cost. Won’t be staying again."

"The staff is very very good 10/10, property is very clean and new. The room, the fan extractor in the shower is an endless noise, even with the door close you can hear it through the night, really annoying. The phone has a very bright light that illuminates the room during night, we have to put a towel on top to avoid it. They sell this room as the curtains fully covers the windows but finish end with a big bright line in the morning that completely ruins your sleep. I know breakfast is included but god damn, is very limited. Please don’t call that a breakfasts"

"The property was across the road from Chatswood Chase, restaurants everywhere, Westfield within minutes and all the transport options needed to easily travel around Sydney, even buses to the mighty Brookvale oval. The accommodation was roomy and very clean, the front desk reception staff were everything you would want. A great destination for a Sydney stay."

"The room was clean but on the smaller side by Australian hotel standards, and feels a little dated for the price — though being central inevitably comes with that trade-off. As a regular Novotel guest, one thing that consistently frustrates me across the brand is the lack of consistency in breakfast. Some properties include espresso coffee, others don’t. Some have an egg station, others don’t. For a global brand with a loyal repeat guest base, standardising the breakfast offering would go a long way — travellers should know what they’re getting before they arrive. On the plus side, the location is excellent, with a great range of restaurants within easy walking distance. The standout issue for me, though, was the WiFi. Coverage in the room was effectively unusable — constantly dropping out. In 2026, reliable WiFi isn’t a nice-to-have; it’s as fundamental as hot water or a working television. This needs to be fixed."
