It's a beautiful place to relax and be looked after. The room was lovely and really nice dining. We did the oyster tour dinner would highly recommend thatbif you like oysters. Yum!
We had a wonderful weekend of luxury . The staff were attentive and the room was well positioned to capture a stunning view. Meals were an event in themselves! Certainly a unique experience.
This was an amazing place to stay, with beautiful vistas and quality food/beverage options. Beach is a gorgeous walk, the room and spa are superb. Note that dinners are can run exceptionally long, even without wine pairings. One dinner took us 3 hours to get through. I do wish they would include room service on the all inclusive as the room is so inviting you'll want to just sit and enjoy it. Highly recommend the included activities-they are fantastic! Special thanks to Ross who took excellent care of us. This staff will go above and beyond if you let them!
Saffire is an excellent all inclusive resort . Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the rooms and buildings were superb . We only did one of the included activities , the Oyster Farm , and that was wonderful .
My only critism would be the use of the word"package" when referring to wines that you could choose from without incurring extra cost . The "packaged " list was only two pages long in a wine list that was huge . The wines in the "package" were all excellent but they were cheapened how it was presented. We have stayed at several of theses alll inclusive resorts and while there is always that option to purchase that very special wine it certainly isn't the norm . This holiday was not a " package" holiday . It was a very inclusive, exclusive holiday and the word package should not be used .
The hotel and staff were tremendous. The Oyster Farm and Tasmanian Devil outings were very interesting and well organised. We had a great time at Saffire Freycinet and it was well worth the cost.
Excellent resort. Obviously pricey but the staff give individualised attention and the accommodation and food are excellent. And of course the setting is incredible.
No wonder it was voted World's Best boutique hotel
I can't say enough wonderful things about Saffire Freycinet -- the place, the activities and, most of all, the amazing staff. Honestly, the photos/words on the website don't begin to do it justice. When we arrived, I understood for the first time the meaning of the word "stunning"-- I literally was stunned by the sheer beauty and couldn't speak for a few moments! We partook in several amazing experiences/activities, such as the marine oyster farm tour (don the provided waders and schlepp through a pristine estuary to a table in the water where you will be served freshly-shucked oysters and champagne), the bird-watching/kayaking tour, and the Tassie Devil viewing. Wow! These special opportunities are not to be missed, and were in large part responsible for converting our Saffire stay from a super expensive luxury hotel indulgence to an all-inclusive-tailored-one-of-a-kind experience. Another part is the constant dining offerings: a complete sensory delight that will thrill any gourmand or foodie. So, when you factor in the SPECIALIZED guided activities and the CULINARY cornucopia with the GORGEOUS view, grounds, rooms and the OUTSTANDING staff who did triple back flips to please me and my 10 year old son (Nick & Co. - we miss you!), it almost seemed like a bargain to this cost-conscious traveler. Okay, maybe not a bargain, but certainly worth every penny.
Treat yourself to a stay at Saffire Freycinet and you will not be disappointed. The experience was beyond superlative!

A 10 STAR RESORT IF POSSIBLE
Well what can I say, This would be the most wonderful resort I have ever stayed at. Yes it is expensive, but oh so special. From the beginning we were greeted by a lovely staff member who knew our names with 2 glasses of champagne. All the staff were very professional and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our suite was very spacious with a wonderful outlook over the Hazards. The bathroom was divine and very spacious with a most wonderful rain shower and every amenity. Food was brilliant, a culinary heaven from the breakfasts to wonderful leisurely lunches, then afternoon tea delivered to our suite and onto a la carte dinner. All drinks and meals are included in the price, including the mini bar in the suite. This is not your everyday, normal resort, this is a very SPECIAL place.

Brilliant! (& then some)
This was one of the best in the world...better than the Address in Dubai etc! The attention to details and the tours were super. There was not one area of the stay we could not give a less then a perfect score on. We soo enjoyed the cocktail making presentation, the walk to Wineglass, the gym, food excess and diversity, the venue...the list goes on and on. The room was something we thought was just perfect; fittings and fixtures throughout were outstanding, well thought out and great design. If you have one special place you want to go then this has to be way up there...so inspiring it was very hard to drive away after just 2 nights which is the bare minimum. It was nice to be able to relax with the staff from the manager to garden staff there was not one link out of place.
One of the most expensive hotel/resort in Tasmania but it really worths for every penny. Personalized service, excellent view and facilities, plenty of activities and friendly people, all together create an unforgettable experience to the guests. I will definitely visit there again when I come back to Tasmania.
