"The check in was strange. It’s “no contact” so there is no staff on sight. We arrived at 7pm and the place was completely deserted, which was unnerving. We got into our room with a code for the door. The room was clean. Bed was a little uncomfortable and the bathroom is small but, the view was pretty and being the only ones at the hotel, we sat outside and played our guitars under the stars and enjoyed ourselves very much."

"Overall great experience. Plenty of space, clean and comfortable. Coffee maker and coffee were complimentary. Host let us drop off our boat/trailer early while we explored the town. Plenty of room for parking 2 boats/trucks.The only downside was proximity to the tracks, but i don't think you can get away from that anywhere in Guttenberg. Will book again."

"We just wrapped up a weeklong stay at Timberside and we could not have asked for a better host and property. We came with our youth travel baseball team and Timberside was more than we could have hoped for. The bunk room accommodated our players and the other rooms were perfect for the coaches. The kids had an amazing time exploring the property’s ponds and trails, playing wiffle ball in their off time, and ending the days with a friendly (yet competitive) game of basketball on the basketball court. The kitchen, great room / family room and wrap around deck that’s perfect for the parents to come over every evening for cookouts. We felt like we were at our home away from home. Next time we are in Dyersville, there’s no question where we will stay. Is this Heaven? No, its Timberside!"
