"Such a fun stay at The Foothills Motel in Auburn! The room was clean, cozy, and newly renovated, and you can really feel the care and passion the owner has for this place. The decor and overall vibe totally took me back to the 1950s in the best way. I loved that it’s pet-friendly, and I am already planning to bring my dogs next time. A small dog run or off-leash area would be an awesome addition. One small note, we only had two towels in the bathroom, and a couple more would have been nice, but it definitely did not change my experience or opinion of this great little motel. The fire pits are such a cool touch! It was raining during our stay, so I did not even ask about using them, but I am really excited to try them next time. This is a gem that I want to keep a secret from the world because I know once word gets out about how great it is, it might be hard to get a room! I am very thankful for such a cozy, welcoming stay and cannot wait to come back again!"

"I love staying here when we’re in the area. Kids love the pool when it’s warm, the views and beautiful, and the hotel itself is very clean. The rooms are spacious and quiet, which is helpful when traveling with kids who go to sleep early. We all love the continental breakfast and look forward to retuning each time we leave. Will be retuning soon."
