He offered a warm welcome and went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable visit. The mattress was so comfortable that we want to get one like it. We had all the convenience of staying in our own home, and our pets settled right in. We plan to rent this house again and bring our kids this time, so we can enjoy the outdoor fun."

"The smell of the many trees surrounding the property was invigorating. While there are neighboring properties within eyesight, and the owners live on site, our experience was very peaceful. From what the owner told me upon our arrival Spring might be the best time to visit when everything is blooming. The grounds had a Wintertime dead look while we stayed over Christmas. The unit was comfortably furnished, and wood was provided for the stove. The only negative thing I have to say about the terms...

"Was a perfect spot for a quiet fall study getaway for my daughter. Thoughtful little touches like fresh eggs from their chickens! Friendly and low key check-in and communication. Beautiful calm view, wildlife, and -of course - hummingbirds! Nevada City is close for a pleasant day outing. Was also a perfect spot for our high energy dog. She made friends, had fun walks, and got to hang out on the porch and in the yard. Will definitely keep on our favorites list for future getaways. "

"We were unable to find the property and had no response from the host after an email regarding conflicting emails with two different check in times. We were on a wild goose chase with our navigation leading us to 3 different areas all with either a dead end road or locked gate! Frustrating- Would recommend no one to rent this place in the future! also would recommend Vrbo/expedia have a way to contact host directly for times like this!"

"The spa and the outdoor kitchen are awesome, really unique experience. Cool location, nicely decorated spa area, and the deck and outdoor space were great Inside however we had a couple major issues. The air conditioner was one of those standalone units, didn’t cool the place down. The bed was very uncomfortable and is in the loft, way too hot to sleep.
