"We had a delightful stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Jessica! The building and grounds are amazing. Our room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. Dinner at restaurant onsite was also very good. While out of town a ways we enjoyed the 40 walk and climb up to the old walled city."

"Parking is tricky, but we found a free parking lot close by. Check-in was easy and Livia was a gem full of helpful tips and resources. Check out - the front desk guy wasn’t very helpful. We paid the city tax in cash and wanted our change in coins - just a few coins to use in town- very much needed in Italy and he wasn’t willing to provide coins or even break a ten. "if you plan to leave the property know that there aren't many taxi or Ubers available and you will spend a lot of money alone on transportation. the rooms were cheap but the rides were more so in all fairness I would stay closer to Florence where there is more available transportation like a bus route. it took a long time to find a taxi to the train station and we spent almost double what we paid for the stay just to get a ride.
