Cool place but can be noisy

Convenient location, large comfortable rooms. The only downside is that noise carries easily between rooms and from the hall and communal kitchen area, so if people are socializing or have the volume of their TV too high (both of which were the case in our experience), the sound is loud in the room.

The room was very clean and beautifull. Walking distance (under 10min) to the old town. Great boulangeries close by and in a residential neighborhood. We felt very safe. Axelle was a great communicator and a fam was provided if you get hot. Great stay!

We absolutely loved this hotel, and we loved Colmar. The check-in process was very smooth, the manager left us a key to get in and the code did you get in the front door. The room itself was quite large with a small sitting room and television, and a separate bedroom with a king size bed. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were great. The sitting room was nice because it had a sofa where we could sit and watch a little television before bed. There was a shared kitchen with quite new appliances, and it was well stocked if you wanted to make your own meals. the bathroom was clean, and there was a large shower with plenty of pressure and hot water. The bathrooms appeared to be quite newly renovated. The owner of the property was very nice, she sent a welcome note with restaurant recommendations as well as taxi service recommendations and she was there if you needed anything at all. Colmar itself is an amazing small city and we enjoyed it thoroughly. It was great food and lots to do. We were there for the Christmas markets and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay there. Axelle was a joy to deal with as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Cute guest house, gives you a feel of euro living

Stayed here after checking out of a horrendous hotel. It was comfy and cozy, but quite far from a lot of things. There is nothing around the area, so just be prepared. Room was nice though, and fairly clean. Will stay here again.

Good location for Colmar visit

Comfortable room with a well-equipped kitchen for communal use. There is no elevator in this lodging, and all rooms require at least a short climb up steps. Located in a beautiful old neighborhood with a bakery close by. Within an easy walk of the old city. We did not drive so can't comment on parking. Communication with proprietor was all done by email and/or texting, but no glitches.

Quaint and wonderful French mansion

Nice and authentic French mansion with individual suites. There’s no reception area or staff to greet you. But that’s ok. Instructions are left for accessing your room and Alissa is available if needed. Easy walk to downtown Colmar. Parking is readily available.

Perfect private location 10 walk from the Old town

Colmar Suites was a perfect location for our 4 day trip to Alsace. The appartment was spacious and the shared kitchen facilities provides all necessities for making a quick lunch pack, breakfast or simply cooling drinks. Check in/out was easy. Our aircon device was not working during a very warm day, but this was handled in just a few minutes after a reset by the owner. The ongoing road construction should be over soon. Till then you should be aware of of some noise from 7:am on working days. Would I stay here again? Definitely.

Lots of room in an older building

Clean, roomy, basic, parking difficult during Christmas markets, did not receive email to access early but was sent immediately after calling in confusion, no toiletries, threadbare towels, inadequate curtains to block morning light, good location to access old town, did not have breakfast. Expensive.

Good place with a few downsides

No parking in the street due to the most noisy road maintenance work in the world. The air conditioning didn’t work the dust two nights, but when it got working it made more noise than cooling. We received messages prior to arrival, but none with parking and noise from outside. Colmar Suites is a good stay under normal circumstances and Colmar City is very pretty but not much too see.
