"Iwe have recently returned from a wonderful week away with friends at Bowmoor Lodge. It is the second time we have stayed there the first being in Winter. Waking up and drawing back the curtains and watching life go by on the lake is breathtaking. "We had a fantastic time at Stratton House. The location was perfect for exploring the Cotswolds and there are lots of things to see and do around Cirencester. Our room was very spacious and had a lovely traditional English feel. There was plenty of parking and the hotel bar was terrific. Jack, one of the barmen, was very attentive and friendly and really couldn’t have done a better job. The bar menu was great and we particularly enjoyed the local gin and beer options. We ate some beautiful meals there also - the leek and potato soup was the best I’ve ever eaten! "
