"Nancy, the owner, provided top-shelf hospitality both through her facility and personally through her customer service! As a hostel, she really goes above and beyond, and Friendly Auberge would be a bargain at twice the price! Don't even get me started about how much I loved her fixed-price pilgrim menu in the restaurant! For me personally, her being an ex-pat American was hugely valuable as I cannot speak French."

"I was able to check in early and the lovely Spanish receptionist was lovely. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe. The breakfast was very nice and the rooftop bar provided lovely reviews. The room was perfect. Very comfortable. There is a tram stop at the other side of the square that opens the transport links to the whole city. "

"Outstanding location. Close to everything by foot including sites, museums, shopping, and many restaurants. We had a very comfortable and quiet room, and the breakfast was very generous with a variety of items. We would definitely come back. "
