"-- Easy central heating.-- Many electric outlets, including bedsides.-- Great layout. Upstairs: both bedrooms and one of the toilets/ shower/ bathtub. Downstairs: the other toilet / shower, living, kitchen, laundry).-- Exceptional cleanliness - everything looked new, fresh, and thoughtfully arranged. It was nothing short of marvelous.-- Even flashlights were everywhere you might need them, and some extra supplies, including condiments. My only small concern was that my family might wake up from squeaky floors upstairs or from knocking sounds that the heating system makes when it turns on. But they didn't seem to be bothered. We used the shower downstairs as it was completely enclosed by glass, so we didn't have to worry about creating a flood that I think we would have had upstairs were the glass was limited and there was no curtain. Since those things didn't affect our family, we thoroughly enjoyed this cheerful and peaceful house. We didn't have the time to try the wine, but spent some time with the neighbors' cats who played on the shared parking lot and flea market across the street - they were gorgeous and such a bonus!"

"Very nice and spacious house. It would’ve been nice to have a bathroom upstairs because the spiral staircase was a little awkward in the middle of the night for us older gals. Everything was neat and clean except the bathroom tile in both bathrooms needs a good scrub. It was a short walk to town and the town is adorable. "

"Stayed here for my honeymoon and it was perfect! Private and relaxing, cozy spots to hang out, well stocked kitchen, lovely hot tub, and awesome location right in the middle of town. It was great to get to walk to all the restaurants & shops. The host was responsive and went out of his way to make sure the hot tub was in good working order for our stay which we really appreciated. Check in / check out was incredibly easy. We would definitely stay here again! "

"We booked the Brook Cottage to celebrate our son and daughter-in-law's first wedding anniversary. They stayed in the other half of the Cottage. It was perfect for being together and still being able to be on our own. Walking to town was a short distance, and we enjoyed all the local shops and restaurants. Our stay was wonderful!!!"
