Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The room & property were very clean. The staff outstanding. A special thank you to James at the front desk & Andrè in The Venue. Would suggest that at check in guests should be notified that housekeeping needs to be requested by 11:00 am (I didn’t notice the sign). For a nicer hotel, coffee should be available in lobby in addition to the small coffee maker in room. I would recommend to friends & family.
Our stay was overall decent, and there were definitely some positives. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful with anything we needed. The breakfast buffet was great and reasonably priced, and we enjoyed the entertainment during our stay, including the DJ on both nights and karaoke night.
However, there were also some concerns. We reserved two rooms, and the door to one of the rooms would not shut all the way. The other room had ants, flies, and roaches, which was disappointing and made us question the cleanliness of the room. We were also concerned when my daughter was approached by a random man in the parking lot at night. That situation made us feel uncomfortable and raised some concerns about security.
Despite these issues, we did enjoy many aspects of our stay, especially the friendly staff, affordable breakfast, and entertainment. With improvements to room maintenance, cleanliness, and security, I would consider staying here again.
Generally run down and dirty. Couldn’t use pool because water was cloudy. Nail clippings found on bathroom floor. Had to change rooms because smoke detector kept chirping. Never will return!
the door that keeps the refrigerator enclosed did NOT close at all and my wife bumped into the door and hurt her already disabled leg!! I am livid that I was charged above $350 for this trash experience and my wife experienced pain.
I need a full refund for this unmemorable experience.
The TV didn't work, the refrigerator didn't work, the door handle was coming off the door on the inside of the room. It was hard to find my room. The first floor rooms hand room numbers that started with 1 or 3 (105, 305, etc.), and the second floor had room numbers that started with 2 or 4 (205, 405). Made it very confusing. There was no coffee downstairs in the lobby at 6:45AM when I had to leave.
The staff, location and hotel were wonderful. However, I had my 21 and 24 year old children check In before my husband and I. My daughter was nervous to stay because they heard people complain at the desk about being in their room and another family had a key and came into their room. They were double booked. My daughter was concerned about safety. We had no where else to go and the night went fine, but still….
This hotel was misrepresented and had changed ownership by the time we arrived. They were unable to find our Expedia booking and asked us to pay again. The staff was unhelpful and rude. The hotel was not well kept and disheveled and at times fighting. We were very disappointed that this was represented as a different hotel by Expedia.

Disliked: Staff & service
We could hear the sound from the hallway and from next door very clearly when we stayed there. We arrived around 1:40pm which was 1 and 20 minutes earlier than 3pm official check in time and was charged $25 for early check in. The room was already available but the staff told us we either coming back 1 hour later or we pay $25 for early check in which was nonsense . I booked the hotel through expedia but the hotel staff told me their record shows my reservation booked directly from them. Not sue whose fault it was, but I got double charged by both expedia and the hotel. I showed the staff my experdia reservation receipt, but he refused to contact expedia to solve the problem. Instead he insisted me to pay the full amount plus the $25 early check in fee and ask me to call expedia myself. It felt pretty cold.
If you've ever watched Schitt's Creek, you'll remember that the Rosebud Motel was proudly rated a "Must Stay" destination and even won awards for excellence. Unfortunately, this hotel deserves the exact opposite distinction: a "Must Never Stay."
If zero stars were an option, that's what I would give.
For nearly $400 per night, the condition of this property was completely unacceptable. Our first room, Room 179 (which I strongly recommend avoiding), had extensive water damage throughout the bathroom wallpaper, a broken closet door, a cabinet door that would not close, and a television that didn't work at all. The cabinet door was hanging open to the point that we walked into it upon entering the room.
After reporting these issues, we were moved to Room 209. The staff member told us, "This should be better." The use of the word "should" immediately raised concerns, and unfortunately, those concerns were justified.
While the television in the second room at least turned on, it would not connect to the internet. Maintenance was sent to investigate, but the issue remained unresolved. We were then advised to move rooms yet again. By that point, we were so frustrated and exhausted that we decided to stay put and go to sleep.
The problems didn't end there. I spent nearly ten minutes cleaning the shower basin myself because it was visibly dirty. The air conditioning barely functioned, leaving the room uncomfortably warm throughout the night.
Overall, stay somewhere else.
Had reservation from July 3 to July 5. Stayed there on July 4 weekend in 2022 and had good experience so am a returning guest. Things have gone badly wrong in the intervening years.
1. checked in at 2pm on July 3. It was a heatwave with temperatures in the high 90's. Was assigned room 222. Room was dirty and TV did not work. Cable set up ripped out of the wall. Requested a room change. Took a while and finally reassigned to room 214.
2. Delay caused us to be late for our scheduled evening river cruise. Returned at about 7pm from the cruise. My spouse was suffering from heat exhaustion and motion sickness. The A/C failed in the room and room temperature was above 100. Requested reassignment. Front desk put us on hold. After some time, went to front desk and reassigned to third room of the day (room 267). Mentioned to front desk clerk that they have a problem and that this is unacceptable. Another desk clerk (a young female sloppily dressed who was sitting in the background and scrolling on her cellphone) stepped up and became belligerent and said, " the only problem we have is people like you and I'm going call the cops". While we moving to the new room she called up and demanded we leave the property. I asked for her name. She refused to answer. Said I will report to the GM. she said, "he knows and doesn't care".
3. We left. They charged us for the entire 3 day stay. I am contesting the charge. They have not returned my phone messages. Stay away

Our stay was ok, except for no linens at all available for the sofa bed when we arrived. (Staff member said they don’t have access to linen closet on overnight shift). The buffet breakfast I feel could have been better by being fresher and hotter. Especially since it’s not free and an additional charge. Crumbs were under the sofa bed (from previous guests). Also, carpet in room could have used more cleaning/ vacuuming & bathroom floor could have used more cleaning. I would rate our stay a 5/10.
